Masonry
Masonry is a skill concerned with the construction of objects from rock, brick, mortar, and similar materials. A smith must have a forge and a smelter must have a furnace, and the mason is the one who can provide them with both.
The raw materials for masonry are sometimes collected in the wilderness, in the case of rocks, and sometimes crafted, in the case of stone or clay bricks. The masonry skill only covers building things, so potential masons are encouraged to make friends with those who specialize in other skills. A good mason will also dabble in pottery to better work with the clay and mortar used to hold the final structures together.
